Sea-To-Sky Gondola Information
The Sea to Sky Gondola is located in Squamish, BC. The trip takes 1 – 1.5 hours by private limousine from most areas in Metro Vancouver. The Gondola is open year round. It may be closed for short times due to seasonal maintenance. There are many different activities offered and different hours of operation depending on the time of year. Ritz Limousines has all of this information available to our clients.
Their are 20 gondolas that make runs up the Chief. Each gondola can hold 8 passengers. The gondolas can accommodate special needs riders, baby strollers and wheelchairs. Dogs are also permitted on the premises and in the gondolas but must be on a leash at all times.
The Summit Lodge is located at the top of the gondola and is a fully licensed restaurant. You can book the Summit Lodge for private functions. The Summit Lodge has a seating capacity of 125 people in the group/private space. We can always help you set up a private space for your tour group.
Sea-To-Sky Gondola Hours:
The Winter season runs from December – April. During the Winter season the gondola is open daily from 10am – 5pm (last ride down at 6pm). There are special hours on Christmas Eve and Christmas Day.
Sea-To-Sky Gondola Prices:
The One-Way Download Only Day Ticket/Season Pass is for guests who would like to access our Summit Lodge and trail network by hiking to the top via our Sea to Summit Trail. Once at the top we are giving our guests the option of downloading on the gondola with a One-Way Download Only Day Ticket for a much cheaper price than the regular Day Ticket. Winter Activities at the Summit Lodge:
At the top of the gondola there are winter walking trails, snowshoeing and a tube park. Access to backcountry skiing and snowshoeing is also available to experienced persons. We recommend anyone accessing the backcountry to travel with a local certified guide. You may bring your own ski and snowboard equipment with you in the limousines and on the gondolas. You can also rent some of this equipment at the venue.
Summer Activities:
You are welcome to experience mountain biking trails at the top of the gondola. You can bring your own bikes in our limousines (only certain vehicles can accommodate mountain bikes so please let us know in advance if this is your intention).
