It is that time of the year again. The PNE opens on Saturday August 19, 2017. The PNE is located at Hastings Park just east of Vancouver’s downtown core. This year the PNE will be featuring many shows and events to celebrate Canada’s 150 birthday. There are literally hundreds of food choices and rides all designed to remind you of your childhood. The PNE has a beer garden, craft beer festival and professional BBQ pit masters area that should not be missed. The PNE also has a concert nights series that features some great bands.

The Summer Nights concert series is your chance to catch the best live music every night at the PNE Amphitheatre. Spend an evening with The B-52s, Colin James and country superstar Billy Currington! The concerts are FREE with admission but a limited number of reserved seats are available for purchase starting at just $20. Reserved seats can be purchased online or onsite during The Fair from the ticket booth located outside the venue entrance within the fairgrounds.
Summer Concert Wristbands
Wristbands will be required to access free general admission seats. Wristbands will only be available at the Revelation booth in Playland starting at 2pm on the day of the concert and will be time-stamped to ensure guests get into the venue on a first come, first in basis. Playland
Playland is also open during the PNE. There are three new family rides in addition to all the favourites of the past. Spin your way through a magical land on the new coaster ride, Bug Whirled, peddle your way to the clouds flapping your wings on The Flutterbye, then take the plunge on the marvellous mechanical Dizzy Drop.
Make sure you’re prepared for your summer of fun by purchasing a season or day pass online or at retailers, and save up to $5 compared to purchasing at the gate. Admission to Playland gives you access to over 30 rides and attractions, including our three new family rides! PLUS this year, Pacific Adventure Golf is now included FREE with admission!
